How to Get Involved and everything you need to know about T1 events

The SRC and GUPSA have refreshed the events program to bring you even more opportunities and experiences, both on and off campus.

This year, our events are designed to offer something for everyone with options that fit different schedules, campuses, and accessibility needs. From relaxed trips exploring local sights to lively social events, there are plenty of ways to meet new people and connect with your student community in a way that feels comfortable for you.

If you have any questions, need specific support, or want more details before attending, please get in touch! We’re happy to help and would love to chat with you.

Our events are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Logan, Brisbane, and Digital campuses. Gold Coast students can access events through their student association, The Student Guild.

Off-campus events

During the trimester, we’ll take you to a variety of exciting locations across Southeast Queensland.

Explore charming towns like Mt Tambourine with a stop at the Glow Worm Caves or you can join us to enjoy local Brisbane experiences such as the Mt Coot-tha Planetarium and Lookout, complete with a cozy picnic in the gardens.

We’ll also visit the Queensland Museum and host Cinema Nights featuring The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mario Galaxy.

Plus, we are excited to introduce our new ‘Winter Program’ running during the break between Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 (15 June – 10 July). Featuring crowd favourites like Dreamworld, iFly, and Whale Watching trips. We’re currently finalising details for the Winter Program and will share more information with students midway through Trimester 1.

  • All off-campus events require registration.
