How the SRC is using SSAF?

The SRC want you to have the best university experience possible by organising an action-packed events calendar and a wide range of services for you to benefit from.  It doesn’t matter what Brisbane or Logan campus you study at – you can utilise any of our events and services.

We pride ourselves on giving the best service possible to students and encourage all students to provide feedback about our services or let us know what initiatives you would like to see on campus.

  • Recreational activities, including clubs, societies and campus events
  • Sporting activities and facilities
  • Student Advocacy
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Support for student organisation
  • Infrastructure for non-academic activities

In 2011 the Australian Government legislated that the SSAF could be spent on support services and amenities such as sporting and recreational activities, employment and career advice, financial advice and food services.  All higher education providers around Australia are entitled to charge an SSAF.

SSAF is embedded into your tuition fees.
