University Mental Health and Wellbeing Week

From the 11th until the 14th of September, the SRC are partaking in ‘University Mental Health and Wellbeing Week’.
 
This week includes World Suicide Prevention Day and RUOK Day, and more than 30 Australian and New Zealand universities are participating. The week aims to create a sense of connection among students. Events, activities and workshops will be hosted at our Nathan and QCA campuses, with some workshops online that are accessible to all students.

Monday 11th September

LivingWorks safeTALK is a half-day workshop that teaches anyone over 15 how to recognize and help those with suicidal thoughts. These individuals may not want to die, but aresafeTALK helps people recognize and assist those with suicidal thoughts and offers life-saving resources.
