I am Kaitlyn Mariam Cherian, and I am a Committee Member of the SRC, studying a Bachelors in Engineering at Nathan campus. I have always enjoyed being around people, and becoming a part of the SRC by assisting out with all activities being markets on campus or day trips, it is something that I simply love doing. The pandemic hit us during my high school, and now that it’s gone, any opportunity to meet new people and learning different skills is something that I have always wanted.

In the beginning of my uni life, it was the SRC which showed me the possibility of creating wonderful relationships with people entirely different from my home land through various events. I aspire to continue doing the same and better for the future first years so they feel included and safe in a new environment at Griffith.
