Why We’re Moving from Eventbrite to CampusGroups
Over the coming weeks, our events will be moving from Eventbrite to CampusGroups. As the Student Associations continue to grow and evolve, we’re always looking for better ways to connect students, build community, and make getting involved on campus even easier.
CampusGroups brings SRC and GUPSA events and student Clubs activities into one central platform. Instead of using multiple systems, you will now have a single place to register for SRC and GUPSA events, join student Clubs and societies and help you stay up to date with what’s happening around campus.
Improving the student experience
The features of CampusGroups include:
- Students can log in using their university student number and password, eliminating the need to create separate accounts or manage additional passwords and email addresses.
- You will still have the option to browse upcoming events on our website’s connection page, or download the CampusGroups App (Apple or Google Play) to receive notifications when we upload connection events.
- The app also features reminders about the events you have registered for and a news channel for the latest information. If you’re using the app, use the search bar to find “Griffith University”, and you will find us there.
When the change is coming
Transitioning to a new platform always comes with a learning curve, and we appreciate everyone’s patience during this change. Our final event for the trimester on Eventbrite will be IDAHOBIT Drag Bingo on the 21st of May, with our first event being the new Winter Events Program on June 1st.
We’re excited about the transition to CampusGroups and look forward to continuing to grow student life together.
