Don’t end up in a crumby situation
Census Date is your last chance to:
- Finalise your fees or HECS-HELP arrangements
- Withdraw from a course without financial penalty
Why the Census Date matters:
- If you’re still enrolled after Census Date, you’ll need to pay for the course — even if you drop it later
- It can impact your HECS-HELP or leave you with a debt
- If you’re unsure about a course, there’s still time to make changes now

Please note: while the standard Census Date for Trimester 1, 2 and 3 falls at the end of teaching Week 4, some courses may have different dates — particularly if you are studying in intensive mode, through Open Universities Australia, or in programs such as Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine or Dentistry.
