Have fun doing something you're interested in

Joining a club is a great way to have fun, make friends and experience the fun side of University. Not only that, but it’s also a great opportunity to contribute to student life at Griffith University and meet new people who share your interests. By managing a club, you’ll develop amazing skills that you’ll take with you into your future, beyond university, including leadership and collaboration skills, marketing, and event management.

Club Events Coming up

While Student Clubs host their own events, we also have plenty of exciting opportunities for everyone to get involved — including Clubs Experience Week, Chill & Grills, and upcoming SRC x Club collaborations.

Chill & Grill

Chill & Grills are your weekly mid-week reset (Weeks 2-12). Swing by for a free sausage and drink, enjoy music and games, and meet a different club each week.

It’s a laid-back way to connect, support fellow students, and take a break between classes.

11 am – 1 pm every Wednesday (excluding Truck ’n’ Shop weeks)

Cost

Free for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

No registration required. You must bring your student ID. 

Not available during T2 mid-trimester break (Wednesday, 12th August).

SRC x Clubs Collaborations T2

Every trimester, the SRC and our student clubs come together to give everyone a chance to try out fun club activities for free – no need to be a club member! 

It’s a great way to meet new people, discover something new, and get involved.

Masquerade & Mischief

Discover a world of heroism, magic, and endless imagination with the Rising Phoenix Association (@rpa.griffith) for a delightful evening of arts and crafts and exciting games.

  1. Choose your favourite character from a broad selection of fantasy archetypes.
  2. Create that character’s mask from an easy crafting pack with all of the materials you’ll need.
  3. Engage in an imagined world of mythical creatures, plot twists, and adventure.

From the moment you walk through the door, you will be transported to a whole other world full of mystery and magic.  Don’t worry if you’ve never played this game or any RPG before; Tiny Dungeon is very easy to learn and is ideal for beginners. No prior experience is necessary.

Terrarium & Succulent Potting Bar

Take a breath and do something good for yourself. Griffith University Relaxation Nation (@gu.relaxationnation) is bringing you a drop-in Terrarium & Succulent Potting Bar during Recharge Week, the perfect study break where you get to pot your very own succulent or miniature plant to take home!

How It Works:

  • Drop in anytime/ come and go as you please
  • Choose your container: pick from a selection of pots and jars
  • Layer your terrarium: add soil, charcoal, decorative pebbles, moss, and stones
  • Pick your plant: choose your succulent and pot it up
  • Take it home! Walk away with your own little piece of calm
  • What’s Provided: All tools and materials and kraft gift bags to carry your plant home.
