Celestine Sewornu

2024 SRC Logan

Campus President

Hi, My name is Celestine Sewornu. I am the Logan Student Representative Council President, studying Bachelor of Social Work. It is an honour to be chosen to serve in this capacity and to have the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of the student community.

I’m dedicated to representing students’ voices, addressing concerns and working collaboratively to make the university experience as enriching and enjoyable as possible.

My goal is to have a direct impact on decisions that affect students, voice their concerns and advocate for improvements where every student’s voice is heard and valued. I’m excited to embark on this journey with you all and eager to make a meaningful impact and shape a campus culture that prioritizes diversity, equity and the holistic growth of each student.

I firmly believe that effective communication is the cornerstone of a thriving university community by actively engaging with fellow students and being a conduit for their concerns and aspirations. I aim to foster an environment where every student feels heard and valued.

My hobbies are reading novels “The Night Circus” by Erin Morgenstern, “The Name of the Wind” By Patrick Rothfuss and “Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine” By Gail Honeyman. I enjoy listening to music when I’m bored, and I’m into pop; my favourite artists are Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
