Hi, I’m Ben, your SRC president of the QCGU campus on Southbank. I’m in my second year and am currently completing a Bachelor of Music, majoring in classical performance.

My goal as a representative of the students is to build relationships with students throughout all musical disciplines and provide an avenue for students to have their voices heard. I hope that by understanding students’ views and by communicating with faculty members, students can be confident their interests are shared with faculty staff. I believe that as students, it is important for us to build a community that welcomes new musicians into the conservatorium and encourages artistic reflection while providing a sense of solidarity between students across departments.

In addition to classical performances, I’m keenly interested in electronic music, jazz, and composition, and I have a passion for creating novel artistic opportunities for myself and my fellow musicians.
