Student Associations Board Elections

2026 Student Associations Election Results

This year’s Student Associations, SRC and GUPSA Board elections have now concluded.

The new Board will help shape the student experience across Griffith Uni’s Logan, Brisbane and Online campuses. Thank you to everyone who voted, campaigned and got involved in this year’s Griffith University Student Representative Council (SRC) and Griffith University Postgraduate Student Association (GUPSA) Board elections. Your participation is what makes student representation possible.

The current 2026 SRC and GUPSA Board term ends on 31 October, and the 2027 student board representatives will take the lead from 1 November 2026. Congratulations to our successful candidates. We look forward to seeing the positive impact you’ll make for Griffith students throughout your term on the SRC and GUPSA Boards.

GUPSA Elections

There is still time to get involved

We are still seeking nominations for the following vacant positions:

  • Coursework Officer – Be the Postgrad Coursework voice on the GUPSA Board, share their priorities and concerns and help shape a better Coursework experience.

  • Sustainability Officer – Bring sustainability ideas to the forefront! Share ideas and concerns and create a sustainability community.

  • LGBTIQ+ Officer – Represent and advocate for the interests of LGBTQIA+ postgraduate students. Share relevant ideas, issues and broaden awareness of the LGBTQIA+ student community.

  • Online Officer – Champion the ideas, needs and experiences of digital postgraduate students by building connection and advocacy across the online student community. You will work with relevant teams to make sure online students have a stronger voice.

If you are interested in nominating for any of these roles, please email boardsecretary@griffith.edu.au.

General Election Information

Elections for the Student Associations, SRC and GUPSA Boards are held annually in Trimester 2. We will email key nomination dates and information to students during this period. If you have any questions before then, please contact boardsecretary@griffith.edu.au.

If you are interested in becoming a student representative, you’ll contribute to student life in so many different ways. You’ll be a key voice in shaping the programs, services and initiatives that thousands of students rely on every day. From food support across our campuses to wellbeing programs, life skills courses, clubs and events and advocacy on the issues that matter most, our boards guide it all.

That means your ideas, your experiences, and your perspective could directly influence:

  • How students are supported – through food programs, health and wellbeing initiatives, and academic resources
  • How students connect – through events, clubs, and community-building activities
  • How students thrive– through life skills programs like first aid, AUSLAN, self-defence, and more
  • How the student voice is heard – by advocating to the University on the issues that affect us all

This is your chance to do something that matters and to leave Griffith better than you found it, build real leadership experience, and represent the students around you.
