Wellness, Advocacy and Leadership Initiative (WALi) Casual Positions 2021
The Student Representative Council (SRC) and Griffith University Postgraduate Students Association (GUPSA) are recruiting students from the Brisbane and Logan campuses to work on a casual basis throughout 2021 as student leaders, as part of the Wellness, Advocacy and Leadership Initiative (WALi).
Successful applicants will be responsible for running Wellness Headquarters (HQs) where they will engage with students in discussions about mental health and wellbeing, as well as provide information and referral to support available at Griffith and in the community. WALi Student Leaders also facilitate wellness walks at Nathan campus, and contribute to content for our Online Wellness HQ. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Students with previous experience engaging with students from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of education and life experiences are encouraged to apply.  Details on how to apply can be found in the WALi Position Description 2021

Amid a global pandemic which has impacted every aspect of student life, we want to hear from you about your experiences with financial stress while studying at Griffith during these unprecedented times.  Information from this survey will be used by the SRC to better understand the financial impacts COVID has had on students and how changes to Griffith support services may impact on students access to help.

Scavenger Hunt runs from – Monday 8th March to Sunday 6th June, 9 pm,
1. Download the Scavify app: Go to https://www.scavify.com/download and choose the app right for you, or search for Scavify in the App Store or Google Play. Note: for iPads you must search “iPad and iPhone apps”.
2. Join the hunt – Open the app, sign up to create an account, search for “Where’s WALi?” and join the hunt.
Students will earn points for the chance to win one of five $200 vouchers. The 5 top scoring participants will win! In the event of a tie, the top scoring participants will be entered into a random draw.
